If you've never heard of brushed embroidery, take a moment and hop on over to Pinterest or Google and search it. It's a technique that is mostly done on cakes with royal icing. Like I mentioned; it's pretty simple but it has a wow factor! The cakes that have it are absolutely stunning and I've always loved them!
I've made you wait long enough so let's get started right away!
1. Liquid Pearls in color of your choice. I used white for this card.
2. 1 Small paintbrush, doesn't have to be expensive.
3. Flower stamp of your choice. The bigger the better when you're learning, however, this technique can be done on smaller stamps as well.
4. Ink that matches liquid pearl color OR Versamark. This cardstock didn't take Versamark well so I used white pigment ink instead.
5. Cardstock of your choice.
My card was done with Bazzil using Fawn, Blank Check (the back side) and a natural white card base.
All your card needs now is it's sentiment and maybe some small embellishement...be sure not to add too much; you want your embroidery to be the focal point!
