Ok, so I know that I'm almost a day late but yesterday was so hectic that I didn't get time to post the blog...but it's here now! That means that you will actually get TWO Christmas cards in one day!
I picked another card that I have previously posted just because I don't normally do the whimsical-type of card and I wanted to make sure that at least one made it to my countdown for those of you who love this style. And I have to admit that I do love this snowman card way too much!

This card is pretty simple and only requires stamps and something to minimally color your image. I chose watercolor, as it is my preferred way to color but this is so minimal that you could really use anything. Other items you will need include:
1. Distress ink-Peacock feathers
2. Fine, white glitter
And of course the usual cardstock and vellum if you choose to mount your sentiment on it.
I stamped my image on watercolor paper and heat embossed it in black but this is completely optional as well and would look great ether way. Using a distress ink blender, add your peacock feather in a circular motion to the middle of your white cardstock. This will create your lightly colored background. To create your snow mounds, I simply cut two wavy stripes from textured white cardstock and ran my glue pen around the edge and dipped in fine, white glitter. Just be sure to mount the top snow mound on with dimensional dots for added dimension. Finish by adding sentiment. Falling snow was added with dots from a white gel pen and dabs of glue with glitter added. And now you have your whimsical snowman card!
This is the part where I usually say to stop back tomorrow but today I will say to check back later today for TODAY'S seventh card in my 12 Day countdown. Until then..."Like" Paperberry Lane on Facebook!
